ONGC invites bids from private cos for 43 small fields

The state-run firm has grouped 43 oil and gas fields with total in-place reserves of 160 million metric tonnes of oil equivalent (mmtoe) into 11 contract areas for which bids have been invited, ONGC said in a statement. These contract areas, all on land and part of the so-called nomination regime, are spread across Gujarat, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
